Warm Hats for the Winter

The wonderful ladies from Patriot's Landing, a military senior living community, made over 60 hats and donated them to StandUp For Kids this month! Wow! Their love and dedication to our homeless community is so greatly appreciated and will make a huge impact for those bundling to stay warm outside each night. Thank you, ladies!

If you have extra gloves, coats, hats, or socks, contact us to donate them to families and teens in need.

A Magical Holiday

The faces of our families and kids at Pear Blossom Place were priceless when our Executive Director stepped in to play Santa. After a warm meal served by Mama Dee and the Joyful Hands Ministries team, magic was in the air as our homeless families gathered around to receieve some of our donated Christmas gifts!

For many, these gifts were the first new clothes, toys, and school supplies they had seen all year. Thank you to all who donated time, money, gifts, and compassion this season.

Benefit Concert Success

What an amazing show to round out the year! 6 artists, all with unqiue and vibrant sounds created a night full of great music. Partnering with local artists to put on shows like these is a great pleasure, as we love to engage with the community and support great creative work.
